Early Childhood Newsletter - November 15th, 2021
Hello PCS families,
As this is our last newsletter before the Thanksgiving break we wanted to take this time to say how thankful we are for our students and parent community! We know that this has been a challenging start to say the least, but we are encouraged every day as we see our sweet kids working and doing their very best! While our job as educators is very difficult we know that we could never do what we do without the support of our families! Thank you for always supporting us and helping us to help your child!

Thanksgiving Break Childcare Survey -
Please see the attached link for information regarding the week of Thanksgiving. We realize the addition of these two days off will be a hardship for some families and we are trying to find some support for those who will need that. Please respond to the survey by Tuesday 11/16 so we have an idea of how many families/students will need support.

A note from Dr. Schrimpf -
As we all work together to navigate our full return to in-person learning this year, we would like to invite all of our families to provide feedback in the form of a short survey. You can complete the survey using the following link with the access code 8860041952. We have invited our students to provide feedback as well by completing a similar survey while at school. Intruder Drill -
We just wanted to give a reminder that we will have an intruder drill on the 18th of November at 9:15. It will last approximately 5-10 minutes but the campus will be locked down at that point so it is vital students are arriving prior to the drill. Our drills are very benign and involve NO scenarios with kids. The drill format is to "hide in place" and ensure all staff can be contacted and secured. The Kids are asked to move away from doors and windows and be silent. Thank you for your cooperation.
